We are seeking to add to our team a full-stack developer to work on our projects. You will be working on new web-based systems and products. The team are creative and passionate people focused on creating great software. The development approach of our projects is agile, allowing us to correct course early on in development.
You will be helping to lead the development solutions involving existing and new software technologies and new challenges. Your ideas and advice that allow us to put our best foot forward will also be valued.
Most of the work in this role is for developing new code. In the future, we will be moving some projects to the cloud.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical designer/ Industrial designer to work in our product design group.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the design and manufacturing of a range of enclosures made from plastic injection, die cast metals, folded metal, and related silicone gaskets for sealing and vibration. You will work with, and coordinate between, our product managers, electronics engineers, industrial designers, supply chain staff, and tool makers and molders.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a flexible thinker who is passionate about doing great work, have a high attention to detail and be able to able to push boundaries and provide creative solutions.
In addition, you will have:
Strong skills in CAD modelling or industrial design;
a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in part design for volume manufacturing;
experience and be fluent in Solidworks;
the ability to manage through various stakeholder requirements to successfully deliver results;
understanding of tool making and molding processes with the ability to learn more;
sound working knowledge and a strong commitment to quality;
strong verbal, written and listening communication skills; and
sound understanding of seal design, vibration analysis, etc.
It would be advantageous if you:
relevant tertiary qualifications in mechatronics/ mechanical engineering / related discipline or equivalent experience;
experience working with Asian-based suppliers/ a diverse supply chain;
have sound understanding of material properties and their impact on mechanical performance, product lifetime, UV and chemical resistance;
have the ability to conduct CFD analysis of airflow and heat transfer in and around electronics; and
Have the ability to conduct vibration analysis of enclosures.
