Introducing Kor Snyman, our new Engineering Manager!

Born and raised in South Africa, Kor holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from South Africa, and an MBA from Australia.

Kor began his Electronics Engineering career as an Officer in the SADF (Air Force), working in engineering research and development as an avionics design engineer. He then moved into the defence industry as a defensive weapons system design engineer, including missile systems.

After moving to Australia, Kor rebuilt his career from the ground up as an Embedded Software Engineer. He later joined Omnitronics, where he spent 17 years, progressing through roles including Senior Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Projects Manager, before spending 13 years as Engineering Manager, including three years on the executive team.

At Motium, Kor will lead our mechanical, electronics, and software teams, overseeing new product development as well as the maintenance and support of our current products. He brings several decades of experience across a wide range of industries, including transport, defence, utilities, public safety, and critical communications in mining.

Outside of work, Kor enjoys running, flying radio-controlled aircraft and being involved in community outreach and charity projects. He’s also a proud family man who loves spending time with his two children and three grandchildren.
